We had an incredible stay at this lovely hotel! The value for the money was excellent and the room surpassed our expectations. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach where we had a memorable picnic and even got engaged! The staff, especially Julie, were so warm, helpful. They even surprised us with a bottle of prosecco to celebrate our engagement. The accommodation was spotless and had all the amenities we needed for a perfect weekend getaway. The wet room was a luxurious touch, and the fluffy white towels were a pleasant surprise. The bed was extra wide and provided us with a restful night's sleep. The conversion of the old farm building was beautifully done and the skylight in the open plan living area made it feel even more spacious. We utilized the provided information to book a fantastic meal at a local hotel and enjoyed a successful trip on the steam train from Ravenglass. Additionally, being a great base for my husband's C2C cycle run was a huge plus. He could easily cycle a mile to the start line at Seascale, allowing for an early start. The owners were friendly and made sure we knew how to use the hot tub, which was a highlight of our stay. Despite being on a working farm, the peaceful sounds of cows and birds replaced the usual traffic noise, creating a tranquil environment. We hope to return one day and experience even better weather!
The breakfast option could be improved by adding a wider variety of tub plants, like palms, ferns, and tall grasses.
